It is important that pupils wear the correct uniform, so that the teacher can clearly see body lines to make necessary corrections.

Poorly fitting uniform can be distracting, especially for younger children; leotards should be tight-fitting & ballet skirts should sit on the waist, not on the hips. All pupils should have the correct shoes for each dance technique, & the fit of these should be checked regularly - dance shoes should not be bought with room for growth.

Students should adhere to the dress code at all times with hair in the correct styles - a bun or high plait tucked under for ballet, neat & tidy, up & away from the face for all other classes.
