Having initially taken dance lessons locally with Jo Raven, Jayne completed her vocational training at London College of Dance and Drama. On leaving college, Jayne worked in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria and Mosjoen, Norway before returning to this area to take over as principal of The Dancers School in 1992. Jayne has also taught at Gt. Yarmouth College on the BTEC National and First Diploma courses in Performing Arts, A level Dance and Performing Arts at the East Norfolk College and GCSE Dance at Oriel High School. Jayne has choreographed many productions for The Gorleston Theatre Company, the first of which was the pantomime Frankenstein, & has also choreographed for The Lowestoft Players. She has also directed and choreographed her own productions of the musicals "Crazy For You", "42nd Street" and "Rent".
